  Your better off sticking to craiglist. Obviously damaged and over used items that are being sold for far more than their worth. We inquired as to how much it would cost to deliver a set of table and chairs less than a 10 minute walk away and were told $40 flat rate (no room to negotiate). For a company that gets everything for free and tries to promote themselves as a “ charity” they really do try to squeeze as much money as they can from their customers. The employees are nice enough if not laissez-faire. But nothing really sticks out here.

  Great place to volunteer. Otherwise, CentrePeace has decent prices on bedding, furniture, and art; additionally, there's that eclectic mix that is typical of a secondhand goods retailer, like film cameras, old editions of books, and the like.
